I've done a few things since graduating from Arlington Heights. I went to Texas Tech after graduation and finally got my degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake City many years later. Marriage and family slowed me down. I later worked on my Masters, at what was then North Texas State University, in Studies in Aging. Didn't get that degree, but it really was not detremental to my career.

I was married to my second husband for 31 years when he died in June 2010. Needless to say, I missed the reunion. During our marriage we lived in Houston, Lafayette, Louisiana, Plano, Texas, and Anchorage, Alaska. I've lived in Kyle, Texas, twenty miles south of Austin, for the past 12 years. My daughter and grandson live down the street.

I retired in the fall of 2011 after 17 years as the Director of a non-profit agency that served older adults (people our age) in ten counties in central Texas. I have my own consulting business and work from home part-time.

I love to travel and have been to many places around the world. New Zealand is next.  Favorite trip was to Tanzania in 2009.  I started line dancing last year and love it.  My grandson is big into sports, in particular baseball.  Love to be in the stands to watch every game.
