Greetings Classmates !

I am so looking forward to re-connecting with some of you in June. Here’s hoping we have a BIG crowd. Thinking about our high school years and all the wonderful friendships never fails to bring a smile to my face. Having enjoyed reading about some of you on this website, I will attempt to share the last 45 years of my life.
First of all, my last name, Moore, is a result of being legally adopted by my stepfather shortly after high school graduation. No wedding bells in my past.
After graduation, I went to Texas Tech for 2 years where Gaylene Pfeffer and I had loads of fun as roommates. Then, on to nursing school at Scott and White in Temple. This was a “diploma program” that has wonderful hands on training, but no degree. That came in 1972 when I returned to Fort Worth and TCU where I received my BSN (nursing).
I met my soul mate and life-partner, Jill, in nursing school and we have been together for 41 great years.
Career-wise, I worked as an RN in med-surg and pediatrics for 15 years and spent the last 15 years in Nursing Administration, managing the pediatric units at University Medical Center.
Jill is a Nurse Practitioner, but her real passion is fiber arts - spinning, knitting, weaving, designing and teaching. I have been weaving since 1980 and having retired early in 1999, I manage our fiber arts business, Brookmoore Creations,
We create scarves, shawls, jackets, vests, southwestern wraps and very special handwoven baby blankets. A website is in the works ….soon, I hope.
Over four decades, we have loved many generations of furry, four-legged “kids”, all mini.schnauzers, except for two long-lived kitties.
We have a wonderful home/studio in a desert setting, filled with fiber, yarns and equipment. We love company, so …if you find yourself headed this way, make a reservation at our “Brookmoore Gulch” resort.
Many thanks to Alicia, Lynne and a great team for all the reunion work, plus special thanks to Sue for creating this website. See you in June !

We will not make the reunion, too much travel before and after, so have to stay home some of the time. Really great old pictures, Bonnie is going to kill you though. If you all get this far up north, let us know. We haven't made AZ yet but do get as far as Albuquerque about once a year.

Lura - LOVE these old pictures! I'm so glad you've kept them all these years. I'll be at the reunion, as will Dee, Bonnie, & others! Don't know if Tamara is planning to come. Are you retired from nursing? You & Jill live in a beautiful part of the country - See you soon! Suzanne
